The 2015 World Cup saw the left-arm pacers dominate. Mitchell Starc and Trent Boult shared 22 wickets in the tournament. While Boult picked up 5/24 against Australia, in the same match Starc responded with 6/28. Starc's pace and accuracy combined with Boult's swing helped both Australia and New Zealand enter the final but Starc's haul of 3/20 in the final helped Australia win the title for the fifth time.
