"India is a closed chapter now," said Pakistan hockey coach Roelant Oltmans after the clash against India at 2018 Gold Coast games. Oltsman was previously the coach of Indian hockey team.

"It's a happy chapter but it's closed now," the Dutch said twice when questions regarding his previous team were hurled at him.

India and Pakistan ended the game at 2-2 which in result was a huge disappointment for India as they were expected to get an easy win given Pakistan’s recent poor form.

The legendary Dutch was shown the exit door in September despite a decent record. He later took the charge of Pakistan hockey team.

Oltmans was pleased to get a draw after Pakistan held their nerves to convert a penalty corner in the last shot of the day.

"India punished our mistakes very well. But I think we were not too bad either," he said.

But the Dutchman rejected the thought of him having the extra edge while coaching and competing against his former side.

"Of course, I know a couple of things but they also know how I think. I don't think it's too much of a factor for me," Oltmans said.
