New Delhi:

Super Sunday will witness the greatest final of all times when defending Champion India will take on their arch rival Pakistan in ICC Champions Trophy final at the Oval in London.

This tournament can safely fall into David vs Goliath saga. Sample some of the setbacks- Bangladesh defeating the black caps, Sri Lanka upsetting the Indian fans temporarily and to top it all Pakistan making strong English team wait for another 4 years!

So when India will take on the resurging Pakistani team on Sunday, Kohli and his men will only ignore this fact at their own peril. So far this has been an Indian Summer in England but going by the fairy tale narration of this trophy it could well be Pakistan’s ‘mauka’

Here are the 5 Pakistani players who can turn history on their side.

Hasan Ali

The latecomer who peaked at the right moment. Pakistan bloomed late in the tournament and so did Hasan Ali. While playing against their arch rivals India in the group match Hasan was beaten black and blue by the men in blue. His balanced bowling against South Africa and fiery spell against Sri Lanka speaks volume about the threat he can pose to the Indian top order.

Sarfraz Ahmed

They can keep wickets and they can bat a bit. This has been the story of Pakistan’s wicket keeper batsmen till date and Sarfaraz is no different. The only difference is that he watches the game from the best position and uses this vantage point in his captaincy. His winning knock against Sri Lanka was truly a captain's innings and with India, at the other end, the wicket keeper batsmen will ensure that he is an irritant with his unconventional batting.

Mohammad Amir

The handsome lad from Punjab is easily Pakistan’s most lethal weapon. His has been a story of early success, early failure, and a robust comeback. Along with Hassan Ali and Junaid, he will form a formidable troika of Pakistan’s pace attack. Just one hitch. His injury may play a spoilsport but knowing Mohammad Amir he would definitely want to lead from the front.

Shoaib Malik

Of the existing Pakistani players he is the one who has played the maximum number of matches against India, he is the one who has faced the humiliation of the inaugural T20 World Cup defeat against India and he is the one who would be most passionately driven. It’s just that so far he has been a wet gunpowder. But he is an old h
