India were reeling at 17/3 in 11.5 overs before bad light stopped play in the ongoing Test match with Sri Lanka at Eden Gardens. Lankan pacer Suranga Lakmal utilised the green top to his advantage and swung the ball vigorously to wreck the Indian top-order. Openers KL Rahul, Shikhar Dhawan and skipper Virat Kohli were unable to adjust to the pace and bounce of the pitch and fell cheaply. Test specialist Cheteshwar Pujara was the only one to offer any resistance and was joined by Ajinkya Rahane by the end of the day's play.
