India beat arch rivals Pakistan by two wickets to win the finals of the Blind Cricket World Cup being played at Sharjah in UAE.

Set a competitive target of 308-runs, Sunil Ramesh spearheaded the Indian chase by scoring a notable 93-runs to help edge their opponents by two wickets. 

Batting first, Pakistan were guided to a competitive total courtesy a fluent half century by Badar Munir. Munir was lent solid support by Riyasat Khan and captain Nisar Ali who played handy knocks with the willow.

India, who are the defending champions, had also defeated Pakistan by seven wickets in their group match on January 13. Pakistan, on the other hand, entered the final after defeating Sri Lanka by 156 runs while India beat Bangladesh by seven wickets to book their place. 

The win against their South Asian neighbours helped India win its second title at the show piece event as earlier they won World Cup, outclassing Pakistan at Cape Town, South Africa in December 2014.
