New Delhi:

They have created history and would be a happy side. Winning a series after 2017 is good, but winning just before the World Cup makes good turn better. It has been a series to remember for men-in-yellow. For India, there are more than one thing to address. This remains to be seen how team India bounce back as they now play in the World Cup. With a month and a half of IPL coming up, it will be interesting to see if that stint helps. SCORECARD

Australia just six balls away now.

WICKET: Another wicket. Australians are just denting India's lower order. Mohammad Shami OUT for 3.

India has all at sea and has fallen. Australia just minutes away from winning their first limited-overs bilateral series after 2017. After 48 overs, it's 228/8. India needs 45 runs off 12 balls.

WICKET: Kedar Jadhav OUT for 44. Tried to up the scoring rate, but couldn't clear the rope. India is all at sea now.

WICKET: A wonderful inning comes to an end. Bhuvneshwar Kumar tried to chip the ball over mid-off fielder but couldn't time and went straight into the hands-off Aaron Finch. OUT for 46.

Another FOUR. The ones who left the stadium 1 hour back would be kicking themselves. What a comeback. Pressure on Australia.

Second six for Bhuvneshwar Kumar. What a shot from number seven batsman? Absolutely sensational. After 45 overs, it's 214/6.

India had lost six wickets for 132 when almost everyone thought they are out of the game. However, Bhuvneshwar Kumar along with Kedar Jadhav is keeping the hopes alive for India. After 44 overs, it's 204/6.

200 up for INDIA

Kedar Jadhav is key for India. He is well-settled, he has done it with MS Dhoni in the first ODI. But will he be able to do it again? After 42 overs, it's 191/6.

50 run partnership between Kedar Jadhav and Bhuvneshwar Kumar.

Superb shot from Jadhav. Comes down the track and hammers for FOUR. The partnership now 46 off 66 deliveries. After 40 overs, it's 178/6.

Bhuvneshwar Kumar is once again showing his class. Sticking a partnership with Jadhav. FOUR after 26 BALLS.

Jadhav is doing a good thing here. He is seeing spinners and waiting for the pacers to come in. Lyon in his last over conceded just no run. After 38 overs, it's 163/6.

Kedar Jadhav is the only hope left for India now in the run chase where India require 112 runs in 84 balls. Bhuvneshwar meanwhile ticking single here and there. After 36 overs, it's 161/6.

Time for DRINKS.

150 up for INDIA.

Even though Jadhav and Bhuvneshwar Kumar may take India close to the total, but one from the top-order had to fire and stay till the end. After 33 overs, it's 149/6.

127 more off 108 balls. If India will look back into the game, they will see if they have so many things to look back on. Not best of days on the field. A lot to reflect before the World Cup. After 32 overs, it's 146/6.

What an over this has been from Adam Zampa. Double wicket maiden. Australia on top. After 29 overs, it's 133/6.

What a beauty of delivery by Adam Zampa? Another wicket. Jadeja OUT.

The middle-order was exposed once again. Once again India is dependent on one of the top three to do the job for them. However, doesn't happen always. Rohit departs after scoring 50.

Two drop catches by Australians, first by Carey - then Maxwell. Fate with India? After 27 overs, it's 131/4.

WICKET: Fourth wicket down for India. Vijay Shankar's small cameo comes to an end. Departs for 16.

Another single down to the leg side, and 50 up him. His 41st ODI fifty.

Another 170 needed off 174 deliveries. For India, Rohit Sharma will be key if India is eyeing for a win. For Australia, one wicket would make them sail towards a win. After 21 overs, 103/3.

100 up for INDIA.

Vijay Shankar replaces Rishabh Pant to the crease.

WICKET: Another wicket. Beautifully bowled by Nathan Lyon. Just a slight turn, plays on the front and has to depart. India loses their third wicket.  After 17.5 overs, it's 91/3.

WICKET: As Shikhar, as Virat Kohli. Both Delhi boys depart in a similar fashion. OUT for 20.

Rohit is continuing his form of the last game. He missed century in Mohali, will try to get in the triple figure before India puts to colored jersey back in the wardrobe. After 11 overs, it's 57/1.

Momentum and luck shift India's way.

Virat Kohli playing an anchor's innings here. Rohit hitting the loose ball. This should a cracker. After 8.2 overs, it's 38/1.

Indian skipper Virat Kohli comes to the crease and starts off with a boundary.

WICKET: Just a slight nip and through to the keeper. Shikhar departs for 12. India lost their first wicket.

Shikhar Dhawan and Rohit Sharma are off to a decent start. After 4 overs, it's 14/0.

Consecutive boundaries for Shikhar Dhawan, utilizing all his experience of Feroz Shah Kotla. He has played all his domestic games here and would look to score big. After 2 overs, it's 11/0.

Rohit Sharma and Shikhar Dhawan come to this crease.

It's a 30 minutes break. Do join us for the second and final innings of this series.

INNINGS BREAK: India restricts Australia for 272/9 in 50 overs.

WICKET: Ninth wicket in form of a runout.

Brilliant first three balls by Bumrah.

Superb ball to start the last over by Jasprit Bumrah.

WICKET: Who would have expected a wicket in that way? Unlucky. Pat Cummins OUT for 15.

Though Jasprit Bumrah hasn't picked a wicket in 9 overs bowled so far, but he has been absolutely sensational with the ball today.

A total which could have been somewhere near 300 has been brought down to 241 in 47 overs. This is a pure class from India.

WICKET: Just a slight nip and through to the keeper. Superb catch by Pant. Carey OUT for 3.

Both the seaming all-rounder OUT for same score - 20.

WICKET: Bhuvneshwar Kumar picks his second. Another batsman departs after getting a start. Sixth wicket down for Australia. Stoinis OUT for 20.

Alex Carey is the new batsman in. With six overs still to go, it will be interesting to see if Australian batsmen can add 60 more runs. After 44 overs, 224/5.

Except for the wicket of Turner, Kuldeep has had one of the worst days on the field. Going by his set standards, he has gone for a lot many runs. After 42 overs, it's 217/5.

WICKET: Turner tried to emulate the first ball effort, but he didn't judge the ball nicely. In the end, the bowler had the last laugh. Turner OUT for 20.

Ashton Turner trying to emulate his Mohali effort. But with 14 off 14, can he up the scoring rate and help Australia to finish on high? - We'll find out. After 41 overs, it's 203/4.

10 overs still to go. Where can Australia finish?

200 up for AUSTRALIA

Australia nears 200 total, with another 11 overs to go, this remains to be seen where can they finish. After 39 overs, it's 199/4.

The rebuilding phase continues for Australia and if one sees on a larger picture, that has been the case for Australia from a long time. They start well, but on most of the occasions, they struggle to make start into a big score. After 37 overs, it's 188/4.

Just where he left - starts off with a boundary - Ashton Turner.

WICKET: Well-settled Peter Handscomb departs after fifty. He was looking to nip past the wicket-keeper but Pant was quick on to it and grabs it comfortably in the end. OUT for 52.

ALERT: Peter Handscomb brings his fourth ODI fifty

WICKET: Jadeja picks his second. Maxwell OUT for 1. The second straight catch for Virat Kohli.

Glenn Maxwell comes to the middle.

WICKET: Just see the celebration from VIRAT KOHLI. Khawaja departs after well-made century.

Absolutely sensational from Australian opener. came into the series with no century under his belt, and ends with two. He has single-handedly helped Australia to be in the position they are right now. After 33 overs, it's 175/2.

ALERT: Usman Khawaja hits the second ton. Both centuries have come against INDIA.

Rishabh Pant misses a catch. Handscomb was on 40 then.

Comes onto 99.

Usman Khawaja is now just three runs away to reach his second ODI ton.

Bumrah replaces Ravindra Jadeja into the attack. He coming at this stage clears one thing, India is desperately in need of a wicket.

Feroz Shah Kotla wicket is known to assist bowlers and we have always witnessed low scoring encounters here. However, what we are seeing for Australia today, this is nothing short of sensational. As Khawaja near his second ODI ton, the pressure looms on India to break this partnership. After 28 overs, Australia sees themselves 157/1.

With that six over Kuldeep Yadav's head, the partnership between two comes to 68. Can he get his second ODI ton today? After 26 overs, it's 145/1.

Eight boundaries and one mighty six already for Usman Khawaja. The left-hander is taking the game away from India.

The fightback has been the feature of Indian Cricket. However, the same hasn't been seen from India in the last three games now. The way Australia is dominating, India surely needs to ask a few questions to themselves. After 23 overs, it's 121/1.

Good stop from Shami, but Khawaja and Peter Handscomb still managed to get 3 runs on the first ball from Jadeja. Six runs came off the 21st overs, it's 111/1.

100 up for India as Virat introduces Kedar Jadhav into the attack.

It wouldn't be wrong to say that Peter Handscomb has started from where he left in the last match. He is looking solid for a big score here. After 18 overs, it's 94/1.

ALERT: Usman Khawaja brings his 8th ODI fifty.

Kuldeep expensive in his third over went for 10 runs including a couple of fours. After 16 overs, it's 87/1.

WICKET: Finally a wicket. The Australian skipper departs after yet another start. Jadeja is another bowler when ball grips. OUT for 27 (43).

Lights on already. Very overcast, says our correspondent Siddharth.

Kuldeep hasn't been able to handle the pressure here. Are we missing the duties of Ravichandran Ashwin in pressure games like these?

The way India is played in the last game has impacted their performance in this game. It is becoming difficult for the team to break this solid partnership. On the other hand, Australia is showing its class. After 13 overs, it's 67/0.

First SIX of the innings.

Kuldeep has taken 9 wickets in this series as of now. However, what will stand out is how he bowls today when pressure is building up.

Spinner introduced into the attack for the first time in this game.

India has already tried three seam bowlers. This remains to be seen when spinner will be introduced as it is expected that wicket will assist the spinners.

After one-fifth of the overs, Australian openers have set yet another solid start for the middle over to come. After 10 overs, it's 52/0.

50 plus partnership for Aaron Finch and Usman Khawaja. there third in this series.

India needs to send Usman Khawaja back to the pavilion or he will take the game away from India real soon. He is the highest run-getter in this series, and he is showing why. Finch and Khawaja are now just four away from another fifty run partnership. After 8 overs, it's 46/0.

OUT or NOT OUT?

Jasprit Bumrah comes into the attack in place of Bhuvneshwar Kumar.

8 boundaries already, and we just saw the sixth over. The duo is looking for big here. After 6 overs, it's 38/0.

Khawaja and Finch are replicating their Ranchi display here. On one hand, Khawaja is dealing in boundaries, and Aaron Finch is playing cautiously to let first few overs go, After 4 overs, it's 28 for no loss.

Khawaja is making batting look easy. Just wow. Australian team management will be happy to see this.

Just a bit of width offered from Bhuveneshwar Kumar, and Finch charged on to it - FOUR.

Usman Khawaja is looking good. He is currently dealing in boundaries. Two boundaries for him as Australia are 9 for no loss after 2 overs.

What a ball to start the proceedings with. Late outswing, Aaron Finch had no idea whatsoever.

Mohammad Shami will start from the other end.

Usman Khawaja off the mark with a boundary. First runs for Australia.

Here we go.

Usman Khawaja takes strike. Virat Kohli goes to his favorite aide Bhuvneshwar Kumar to start the innings.

Okay, Aaron Finch and Usman Khawaja are out in the middle. Indian players come out as we are set to witness India's last International game before the World Cup.

The wicket is expected to assist spinners and will slow as the game moves. With this, India needs to restrict the opposition for a low score if they wish to chase and win.

The match starts in 15 minutes, how excited are you to witness the decider?

The game is expected to be a crackerjack of an encounter. The spectators are coming in and wouldn't take long to fill this stadium.

Australia has made two changes. Marcus Stoinis and Nathan Lyon come in for Shaun Marsh and Jason Behrendorff.

Virat Kohli and team management have made two changes. Mohammad Shami replaces Virat Kohli, and Ravindra Jadeja comes into the playing eleven ahead of Yuzvendra Chahal.

TOSS: Aaron Finch wins toss, opts to bat first
