New Delhi:

Peter Handscomb’s brilliant maiden ton and his 192-run stand for the third wicket with Usman Khawaja, who blasted 91 had kept Australia in the hunt in their pursuit of 359 against India at the PCA stadium in Mohali. After the dismissal of Handscomb for 117, it seemed the game was up for India but Ashton Turner put on one of the great performances ever seen by an Australian batsmen on Indian shores as his mind-numbing 84 off 43 balls helped Australia chase down 359 and win by four wickets with 13 balls to spare to square the five-match series 2-2 on Sunday. LIVE SCORECARD

Over 700 runs scored in the game. Seeing from a cricket fans point of view, it has been a treat to watch. Australia deserves to win the encounter.

Australia beat India by 4 wickets to level the five-match series 2-2.

Everything going Australia's way. Catch drop, sloppy fielding, shorts balls - INDIA.

A lot of things to be looked on before the final ODI for India.

Last 3.5 overs, India has given 63 runs. 80 runs between Turner and Carey.

This game will end two overs early. Ashton Turner is doing something special. Are we all set for the World Cup?

The way Australian batsmen are playing Indian bowlers, the game might end an over or two early. Absolutely sensational stuff. After 46 overs, it's 333/5.

What a game is turning out to be. 42 needed off last 30 balls.

What a crucial knock from Ashton Turner. Bhuvneshwar Kumar is under PRESSURE. Score over 300 now.

What a sensational shot from Ashton Turner - comes onto 49.

So Bhuvneshwar and Bumrah will bowl the last six. Good call by Virat Kohli.

62 required off the last six overs.

Really hard on Rishabh Pant. Every time Pant is missing a stumping chance, the crowd is chanting MS DHONI MS DHONI!

Rishabh Pant misses second stumping chance. Missing Dhoni?

Seven over remaining and Australians are still trying their level best to give India fight. Turner playing the innings of his life. The innings may help him to cement his spot lower down the order in the forthcoming World cup. After 43 overs, it's 287/5.

WICKET: Finally a wicket for India. Handscomb departs after a well-made century. Chahal tosses up the delivery and Handscomb couldn't time it to perfection, went straight into the hands of KL Rahul.

Turner playing a good inning here. Playing at a strike-rate of over 150 and has been able to keep Australia in the game. After 41 overs, it's 271/4.

13 runs of Kuldeep Yadav's ninth over. Can Australia pull this off?

The required run rate nears 10 now, and Peter Handscomb is looking restless but doesn't have any answers to India's bowling.

Ashton Turner joins Peter Handscomb now.

WICKET: Maxwell tries to play a reverse sweep to Kuldeep Yadav, but struck on the pad. Though Maxwell reviews, but there was nothing on ultra edge, the impact was in line, and wicket HITTING. It's OUT.

SIX for Maxwell. How many more can we witness today?

The required runs per over is now over 9.

ALERT: Peter Handscomb hits maiden ODI ton. Can he help Australia to square the series?

Change in bowling, Bhuvneshwar comes back into the attack.

After the wicket of Khawaja, Maxwell smashes a couple of boundaries in Bumrah's over. After 34 overs, 213/3.

Australia needs 151 runs more off 98 deliveries.

Glenn Maxwell starts with a boundary

WICKET: Immediately after drinks Australia lose Khawaja. Khawaja tried to go down the track to Bumrah but mistimes the shot and rest was done by Kuldeep Yadav.

Big over for Australia. 19 of the 33rd over.

Back to back sixes for Handscomb, enters 90s.

As Khawaja and Handscomb near their hundred, they have slowed things a bit and playing more cautiously.

Jasprit Bumrah back into the attack as India struggles to find a wicket.

Luck favors Australia.

Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli had a long chat between the overs and came up with a decision to bowl Kedar Jadhav. And as always, he had almost delivered. Struck on Khawaja's pad, Kumar Dharmasena had given him out, Khawaja went for a review, and turned in his favour. After 30.3 overs, it's 179.2.

The stat says, chasing has been easy in PCA IS Bindra Stadium, Mohali and one will have to say, it's quite prominent. After 29 overs, it's 166/2.

Both the batsmen are now in the 70s.

150 runs partnership between Handscomb and Khawaja now.

Khawaja nears another hundred. Handscomb, too, isn't far behind. Though ball is turning and assisting the spinners, both Handscomb and Khawaja are able to score 6-7 runs in every over. After 27 overs, Australia is 159 for the loss of 2 wickets.

150 up for Australia. Just 204 more needed in 24 overs now.

Boundaries. Sloppy Fielding. Short of a length delivery. Decisions going in favour of Australia's way. In many ways this situation reflects just one thing - India is under pressure. After 25 overs, it's 145/2.

After 23.2 overs, India was 138/0. In reply, Australia is just a run behind with two wickets lost. Two batsmen are shifting momentum towards Australia, can they square this series?

50 up for Peter Handscomb, his fourth ODI fifty. Australia is looking good now.

100 run partnership between Handscomb and Khawaja. Momentum shifting towards Australia. After 21 overs, it's 119/2.

Wrist spinner Yuzvendra Chahal comes into the attack in 20th over.

100 up for AUSTRALIA

ALERT: Khawaja brings up his seventh ODI half-century, continues his prime form.

A boundary off the first ball off Kedar's second over. This is clear, Handscomb has decided to after the bowlers. It is known that chasing has been easy in Mohali, but will they be able to do it? We will find out in the next 30 overs.

10 of the over. It's 90/2 after 17 overs

Both Khawaja and Handscomb have played over 40 deliveries, and one can say that both are settled at the wicket. Going forward, one of two needs to anchor the innings and play till the end and other needs to go after the bowlers. After 16 overs, it's 80/2.

Kedar Jadhav comes into the attack. He didn't have the best of the outings in the last game with the ball. This remains to be seen how Australia tackle him while scoring a mammoth total. After 15 overs, it's 72/2.

Kuldeep Yadav slows things a bit with Handscomb, Khawaja reach 50-run stand. After 13 overs, it's 62/2.

Vijay Shankar replaces Jasprit Bumrah into the attack. A good call by Kohli to bowl his fifth bowler when Australia seems to be struggling.

A small partnership seems to be building up as both Handscomb and Khawaja trying to put the best foot forward and utilise good batting conditions. Partnership notches up to 31 off 33 deliveries as the score after 9 overs looks 43/2.

Back to back boundaries for Khawaja. Not up to Bumrah's standards.

India has been able to keep things under their control as Australian batsmen struggle for runs. Just one came off the seventh over as Australia see themselves two down for 29 runs.

As Handscomb and Khawaja try to rebuild the Australian innings, the score reaches 21/2 after the end of 5 overs.

WICKET: Second wicket down for Australia. Ball kisses the off stump, and Marsh has to take a long walk back to the pavilion. With this, both Bumrah and Bhuvneshwar open their wicket tally.

First boundary for Australia. It took them 18 balls to open that tally. With two left-handers at the crease, it will probably easy for India to mark their fielders. After 3.1, it's 11/1.

After so long we are seeing Bhuvneshwar Kumar and Jasprit Bumrah bowling together, and they are once again doing what they are known for - Picking wickets, while restricting runs. After 2 overs, it's 6/1.

Bhuvneshwar Kumar in 2019:
37 balls, 16 runs, Three dismissals

WICKET: Knocked him over. What a start for India. Bhuvneshwar-Finch rivalry - Bhuvi wins once again. Finch departs without troubling the scorers.

Finch and Khawaja will look to replicate their last game's effort and provide Australia with a solid start.

Bhuvnesh Kumar will bowl the first over and he managed to get the first wicket on his first ball. Dream of a delivery to start the proceedings with.

Indian team started the innings in fine fashion with both Shikar Dhawan and Rohit Sharma registering 193 run stand. Unfortunately, Rohit missed out on a well deserved hundred, but his counterpart went on to smash Aussie bowlers and scored 142. The start along with a few cameos in the middle helped India to finish at 358 in their quota of fifty overs.

What a superlative innings Vijay Shankar is playing here. Booked his world cup berth after consistent performances?

Back to back boundaries for Vijay Shankar and India. What a start to the 49th over.

WICKET: Kedar OUT for 10. Richardson picks his second.

No Boundaries in the last 19 deliveries now

With two new batsmen at the crease to play the last three overs, it wouldn't be wrong to say that Australians have done well. After 47 overs, it's 326/5.

WICKET: Pant tried to go over the mid on fielder, but couldn't time it. OUT for quick-fire 36. Pat Cummins picks his second.

Last five overs to go, with six wickets in the hand, India should eye for 350 plus here.

Rishabh Pant smashing boundaries with ease as India's score notched up to 313 after 45 overs.

MILESTONE ALERT: 50th Wicket for Adam Zampa in ODI

WICKET: Just a slight nip and through to the keeper. Adam Zampa breaks the partnership. KL Rahul OUT.

First cover drive, then flick, now a slight nip to the left side of wicketkeeper - Pant makes 42nd over big. 16 runs off the over. It's 292/3.

Gorgeous shot from Rishabh Pant. Superb timing. He will look to go after the bowlers and dominate the game.

Rishabh Pant joins KL Rahul to the middle. With 9 overs still remaining, this is probably the best time for two comeback players to express themselves. Going by the projected score, India is expected to finish between 335-340, but if these two can stay till the end, we will witness something special and mammoth. After 41 overs, it's 276/3.

WICKET: Virat Kohli tried to play away from his body and just couldn't time it, get's a slight nip through to the keeper. Third wicket down.

That IPL touch from Virat Kohli - off she goes - FOUR. After 39 overs, it's 265/2.

Indian skipper Virat Kohli comes to the middle now.

WICKET: After smashing the bowlers on almost every ball, Shikhar tried to play another shot through mid-wicket but couldn't time - BOWLED. After a terrific innings 143, Dhawan departs.

50 plus runs partnership off just 36 balls between Shikhar and KL. Though Shikhar has scored 80 per cent of the runs in the partnership, even then KL Rahul would be happy to contribute slow. After 37 overs, it's 248/1.

In almost every over, the Australian bowlers are giving 6-7 runs. Is it that good wicket to bat on or Dhawan is back in some super form?

After scoring the hundred, Shikhar Dhawan is toiling with Australian bowlers. Back to back boundaries in the 35th over. India is now 222/1.

Interestingly, in the last game when Usman Khawaja and Aaron Finch were hammering Indian bowlers all around the ground, the first wicket perished at 193. In this game, the first wicket at the same number. Unlucky 193?

ALERT: Shikhar Dhawan hits 16th ODI ton. India score notches up to 206/1 after 33 overs.

KL Rahul comes ahead of Virat Kohli. Is it a tactical change or just giving him more balls to play?

WICKET: Rohit Sharma mistimes a short over mid-wicket went straight into the hands of the fielder. Rohit Sharma shows his frustration to miss his 23rd ODI ton. Out for 95.

MILESTONE ALERT: BEST Opening partnership against Australia belongs to Shikhar Dhawan and Rohit Sharma.

Both Rohit Sharma and Shikhar Dhawan into the 80s now.

Indian openers are just 7 runs away from registering the best opening partnership against Australia. The current best was in Nagpur in 2013 (178).

After a few quiet overs, India under the groove again. Both are looking for the redemption of the first three games.

Rohit Sharma breaks the jinx. FOUR to Finch. After 28 overs, it's 161/0.

No boundaries for 21 deliveries. The last one was Rohit pulling Zampa for six. Wicket on the way?

Aaron Finch comes into the attack. With nothing working, skipper trying his luck. Just four from his first over. It's 152/0 after 26 overs.

First 25 overs done. India will look to finish over 350 runs, with 10 wickets left.

With Finch calling the keeper up for Jason, the team has been able to keep Dhawan silent.

Staggering numbers for Rohit Sharma in Mohali. He has scored over 370 runs on this ground now.

Rohit Sharma fancies his chances to replicate his last performance on this ground. To the ones who aren't able to rewind the heroic innings, Rohit had scored his last double century against Sri Lanka in Mohali.

Ravi Shastri and the team management would be feeling relieved to see the scorecard on the big screen. Runs are coming easy. Australia needs to do something fast or the game will be in India's pocket early than one can expect of. After 23.3, it's 144/0.

The frustration continues for men-in-yellow as with every passing ball, the duo is looking more settled. The runs are coming easily as the fielders have been spread. After 22 overs, it's 130/0.

40th ODI fifty for India's vice-captain Rohit Sharma.

Spinners from both the ends now and Zampa is that other spinner. Adam Zampa is probably the only hope for Australia now, as he has been the pick of the bowlers for Australia in this series picking seven wickets in the series so far. After, 20.1 overs, it's 120/0.

Maxwell back into the attack. Aaron Finch is trying everything to break this partnership but nothing is going his way. Shikhar, who was adjudged as out of form before this game has already come to 65 and looking for a big one here. His counterpart, Rohit Sharma, on the other hand, has notched up to 44. After 19 overs, it's 111/0.

15th century stand for the opening wicket between Rohit and Dhawan.

100 comes up for India and not a single wicket down - Just what team management and the skipper would be expecting.

It wouldn't be wrong to say that we have been seeing a start like this after a long time from Indian openers. Both Shikhar Dhawan and Rohit Sharma are complementing each other and replicate Australia's show in Ranchi.

ALERT: Shikhar Dhawan brings up his 28th ODI fifty. As of now, Dhawan has smashed 51 off 47 deliveries. His innings laced with9 boundaries.

Ones and Twos help India to notch the score up to 65 after 10.4 overs. Shikhar Dhawan and Rohit Sharma off to a solid start.

FIRST SIX off the innings and what better time to come. 50 partnership between Shikhar and Rohit.

Spinner introduced into the attack for the first time in this game and he starts with a maiden over.

Oh dear! It was a juicy half volley and Shikhar drivers it through the cover and balls goes like a bullet. Dhawan enters 40s in no time.

First boundary from Rohit Sharma's bat. And India's score notched up to 38/0 after 7 overs.

Was Shikhar Dhawan out of form before this game? Doesn't seem so.

First 25 runs from Shikhar Dhawan's bat can be summed in just two words - PURE CLASS.

Dhawan has been the star of the show here. back to back boundaries in the fifth over. Off she goes. After 5 overs, it's 23/0.

Jason starts with a maiden. It's 6 without a loss for India.

Seeing the scenario, it feels KL Rahul will come ahead of in-form skipper Virat Kohli. Was it the right time for this tinker?

Jason Behrendorff starts from the other end and immediately beats Shikhar Dhawan of outside off.

Shikhar off the mark with a delightful boundary. Cummins bowls on the pad, and he flicks it away for FOUR.

Pat Cummins will bowl the first over for Australia and he immediately bowls on the money.

Australian team come out to the middle. India has gone with the same set of openers and both Shikhar Dhawan and Rohit Sharma will look to get some runs under their belt.

Two changes for Australia - Ashton Turner and Jason Behrendorff comes into the playing XI.

India has made four changes, replacing Mohammad Shami, MS Dhoni, Ambati Rayudu, and Ravindra Jadeja with Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Rishabh Pant, KL Rahul, Yuzvendra Chahal respectively.

Here's the Playing XI:

India
: Shikhar Dhawan, Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli(c), Lokesh Rahul, Rishabh Pant(w), Kedar Jadhav, Vijay Shankar, Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Kuldeep Yadav, Yuzvendra Chahal, Jasprit Bumrah

Australia: Aaron Finch(c), Usman Khawaja, Shaun Marsh, Peter Handscomb, Glenn Maxwell, Ashton Turner, Alex Carey(w), Jhye Richardson, Pat Cummins, Jason Behrendorff, Adam Zampa

TOSS: India has won the toss and they will bat first

Yuzvendra Chahal is working out regressively, it is expected that he may replace Ravindra Jadeja in XI.

Toss in 2 minutes. What can we expect?

India, Australia, and Mohali are synonymous to the ICC games. ICC T20 World Cup in 2016 was a treat for every cricket fan. Three years down the line, these two teams have once again come at the same place. Will the result be the same?

It was expected a cloudy afternoon in Mohali, but one will have to say that its bright sunny afternoon with no chances of rain as of now.

Australia, on the other hand, would try to incarnate the mantra of winning bilateral series which they haven't won since 2017 Pakistan series, which seems to be a long back going by Australian set standards.

With this, India is left with just two International games before the forthcoming World Cup. This remains to be seen, how India approach these two games.

Bhuvneshwar Kumar, who was rested for the first two ODI Internationals was back into the setup but didn't get a place in the first XI, and since Shami got injured in the last game, he is expected to get some match time.

Indian opener Shikhar Dhawan has been in out of touch from quite some time now, and India team may well be tempted to try KL Rahul up the order, who had a fine T20 run against men-in-yellow.

Since the team management has rested wicket-keeper batsman MS Dhoni for the remainder of the series, it is expected that Rishabh Pant will keep behind the stumps.

Hello and a warm welcome to the fourth ODI between India and Australia at the PCA IS Bindra Stadium, Mohali. Will Australia continue their winning run and level the series or India will bounce back to take an unassailable lead?
