New Delhi:

New Zealand won the toss and chose to bowl in the Hamilton ODI against India. Rohit Sharma and Shikhar Dhawan got off to a decent start but they were hit by a lightning 'Boult'. Most specifically, by Trent Boult. The left-hander picked up 5/21 and ran through the Indian battign line-up. His fifth five-wicket haul was well supported by Colin de Grandhomme who picked up three wickets. Hardik Pandya was the top-scorer with 16 and a solid stand between Kuldeep Yadav and Yuzvendra Chahal frustrated New Zealand but Todd Astle and James Neesham got the remaining wickets to bowl India out for 92. In response, Bhuvneshwar got the wickets of Martin Guptill (14) and Kane Williamson (11) but Ross Taylor and Henry Nicholls sealed a comprehensive eight-wicket win to earn a consolation win. (SCORECARD)

That is all from us here. Join us for the final ODI in Wellington on February 3. The match will be played at the Westpac Stadium or the Cake Tin.

Trent Boult, Man of the Match: Nice to see the ball moving around, made the most of it. Nice to chase it down as well. It swung around nicely; pretty satisfying. To make most of it is another thing. It was good fun, nice to bowl them out cheaply.

Kane Williamson, New Zealand skipper: We didn't expect the surface to behave like this. Nice to restrict them to a 90-odd total. It stood up a little bit and nipped a bit. It spun as well. One of those days, things went well. Credit to the areas guys bowled. We always wanted early wickets, to be able to that was a real step at the right direction.

Rohit Sharma, India captain: One of our worst performances with the bat for a long time. Something we didn't expect. You got to give credit to the NZ bowlers. It was a magnificent effort. Something to learn for us. At times, you need to apply pressure. We need to blame ourselves for it.

Ross Taylor blasts a six and a four as New Zealand decimate India by eight wickets in Hamilton to earn a consolation win. They win with 212 balls to spare, which is the most-ever in an ODI against India. New Zealand have gotten the swagger back, one feels.

Taylor blasts two sixes off Yuzvendra Chahal, one a slog sweep to deep midwicket and other a pull into the grass banks in the same region. New Zealand need just another 14 runs for a win.

Hardik Pandya concedes an expensive over with Henry Nicholls slamming a boundary as New Zealand need just 30 runs to win.

Ross Taylor gets a boundary off Yuzvendra Chahal and New Zealand are just 38 runs away from a solid win. This has been a sluggish pitch and it has required application from the batsmen.

The fifty is up for New Zealand and they need just 43 more to win. Taylor and Nicholls are doing it in style.

Henry Nicholls flicks Hardik Pandya to the deep backward square leg region for a six as New Zealand need less than 50. Bhuvneshwar might bowl through.

Poor shot from Williamson and his lean run continues. Full ball outside off and Williamson wafts at it, the edge is taken by Dinesh Karthik and Bhuvneshwar Kumar has his second.

Kane Williamson and Henry Nicholls are going at a good pace and New Zealand need just 54 runs. India can only look to chip away and take wickets at regular intervals.

Henry Nicholls gets going with two boundaries off Khaleel Ahmed while Bhuvneshwar Kumar comes back strongly with a maiden over.

Martin Guptill gets going with a six and two fours off Bhuvneshwar Kumar but the bowler has the last laugh. Back of a length ball and it straightens, Guptill gets a leading edge to point and both the bowler and batsman exchange wry smiles.

All over! James Neesham bowls a full and straight ball and Khaleel Ahmed is cleaned up. India have been bowled out for 92 and this should be easy for New Zealand.

Khaleel Ahmed is dropped on 0 by Ross Taylor and Chahal brings up his highest ODI score by slogging Todd Astle to deep midwicket for a boundary. Can India go past 100?

The partnership ends. Kuldeep slog sweeps Todd Astle to long leg and holes out. New Zealand close in on bowling India out cheaply.

Kuldeep Yadav and Yuzvendra Chahal are playing some attractive shots to frustrate the Kiwis. Can they help them go past 100?

Trent Boult ends with figures of 10-4-21-5 and India are staring down the barrel here. Can they get to a total close to 100 or above?

Hardik Pandya smashes three boundaries off Boult and India are looking for some respectability.

Colin de Grandhomme gets his third and India slide further. Full ball and it nips back in off the deck, Bhuvneshwar plays inside the line of the delivery and the ball crashes into the stumps. Onus on Hardik Pandya now.

Fourth for Boult. He is ripping the Indian batting line-up to shreds. Full ball angled across and it nips back in, Jadhav plays down the wrong line and is pinged in front. Jadhav goes for the review but the ball is hitting top of middle stump. They have lost the review and Rohit Sharma's side are in dire straits.

GONE! The in-ducker from Boult, which had accounted for Rohit Sharma, now gets rid of Shubman Gill for 9. On a full length and it cuts back in, Shubman pushes at it and the bowler takes a simple catch. India are 33/5 and in massive trouble.

Another wicket for Colin de Grandhomme and India are reeling here. Good length ball and on the off stump line and moving away, Karthik pushes away from his body and Tom Latham takes the catch.

Poor shot from Rayudu and Colin de Grandhomme strikes in his first over. Full ball outside off and Rayudu goes for the drive but Guptill at shortish cover leaps and takes the catch.

Shubman gets hit on the helmet by a short ball from Trent Boult and they immediately check him. He seems to be fine and is ready to resume his innings.

Superb catch by Boult and he gets his second. Full ball angled in on middle and it nips back in, Rohit chips the drive back to Boult who takes the catch. India are 23/2 in the eighth over. Shubman gets going with a boundary.

LBW! Trent Boult gets Shikhar Dhawan cheaply again. Full ball slanted in on middle and it nips back in to ping Dhawan in front of the crease, New Zealand appeal and the umpire gives it out. Enter Shubman Gill.

Dhawan slams a four and upper-cuts Matt Henry over third man for a six as he gets off to a great start

Here are the playing XIs of both sides as Matt Henry bowls the first over.

Hello and a warm welcome to the fourth ODI between New Zealand and India from Seddon Park Hamilton. The venue has good memories for India, having won a Test at the venue to break their 41-year jinx in New Zealand. However, it is a proud moment for one 19-year-old youngster. Shubman Gill is making his debut.
