Mumbai Indians pulled out a comfortable 4-wicket win against mighty Sunrisers Hyderabad at Wankhede stadium on Wednesday chasing down a not-so-big total of 159 runs in their third Indian Premier League match.
The home side was benefited by a superior all-round performances from its players as the hosts failed to put a daunting target on the score board.
Electing to bowl first, Mumbai Indians restricted Sunrisers Hyderabad to 158 for eight. Skipper David Warner top-scored with a 34-ball 49 while Shikhar Dhawan made 48 off 43 deliveries during a considerably-catious start.
For Mumbai Indians, Jasprit Bumrah picked up three wickets giving away 24 runs from his four overs.

For the Mumbai side, openers Parthiv Patel and Jos Buttler consolidated a partnership of 28 runs for the first wicket. However, MI suffered a big jolt in the form of skipper Rohit Sharma.
Nitish Rana and Krunal Pandya, then, steadied the Mumbai ship and displayed clever batting to steer their side towards the target. Pandya made quickfire 37 runs off just 20 balls while Nitish Rana scored crucial 45 that proved valuable for the Mumbai Indians. Their contribution resulted in Mumbai's victory with nine balls to spare.
