The second match of ICC Men’s T20 World Cup between Kuwait and Malaysia which is all set for today at Indian Association Ground, Singapore. The match will start at 11:30 am IST. Five teams are taking part in the tournament to secure a spot in the T20 World Cup Qualifier to be held next year. Kuwait seem to have edge over Malaysia after they managed two easy wins in two previous meetings in the ACC Twenty20 Cup and Malaysia have just returned from bilateral series against Nepal.

The 2020 ICC T20 World Cup is scheduled to be the seventh ICC T20 World Cup tournament, with matches to be held in Australia from 18 October to 15 November 2020. The final will be held at the Melbourne Cricket Ground. As of now, top nine ranked ICC Full Members, along with hosts Australia, qualified directly for the 2020 tournament. Sri Lanka and Bangladesh did not qualify for the Super 12s, instead being placed in the group stage of the competition. The United Arab Emirates and Nepal can only qualify through regional competitions.
