India and Australia lock horns in the 3rd ODI of five matches series at Holkar Stadium, Indore. Australia, after winning the toss elected to bat first and the decision was proved right by opening pair David Warner and Aaron Finch. Both provided Australia with a solid start and FInch struck with a hundred on his return. 

However, the visitors lost the momentum in last 10 overs and despite the efforts of Aaron Finch and skipper Smith 63 (71), they were restricted to 293/6 in 50 overs by the Indian bowlers. Kuldeep (75/2) and Bumrah (52/2) provided India with crucial wickets in the death overs.

In reply, India had the dream start and both its openers, Rohit Sharma (71 runs in 62 balls) and Ajinkya Rahane (70 runs in 76 balls) scored half-centuries. Coulter-Nile and Cummins got rid of both the openers respectively.

Manish Pandey, Kedar Jadhav and Rohit Sharma need some big scores against their name. Australia has suffered a loss in form whereas injuries have also played a major role in their defeats.

Aaron Finch has returned to the Australian squad and will strengthen the visitors' batting lineup. David Warner and Steven Smith have fired in patches whereas Glenn Maxwell destroyed a promising start in the Chennai ODI.

Australia's fast bowlers Pat Cummins and Coulter-Nile have delivered consistently whereas all-rounder Marcus Stoinis have been the bulwark of the team.

The Indore ODI promises to be entertaining as Australia will look to keep the series alive.Although rains have lashed Indore recently, Sunday's forecast is predicted to be all clear.

India's ace batsman Virat Kohli is 41 runs away from scoring 2000 runs as skipper. He has 1959 runs from 34 innings and has six innings in hand to break AB de Villiers's record of fastest to 2000 runs as skipper.
