Former Pakistani cricketer Rameez Raja was trolled badly over social after he raised questions over Mahendra Singh Dhoni’s grade ‘A’ contract.
Indians cricket fans thrashed Rameez Raja over his comment that BCCI has awarded Dhoni a grade ‘A’ contract despite being retired from the Test cricket.
Actually, Rameez was upset with Indian and Pakistan cricket boards for neglecting Test cricket. He requested ICC to grant a two-month window dedicatedly for Test cricket.
“You have to acknowledge and respect the status of Test match cricket and it has to come from the cricket boards, in Asia specifically,” Raja said, as quoted by AFP.
“For example, MS Dhoni retired from Test cricket yet got the A-grade contract from the BCCI, Shahid Afridi retired from Test cricket yet got the A-grade contract from PCB.
Whatever his intensions were, but his statement didn’t go down well with Indian fans and they trolled him badly on twitter.
Dear Rameez Raja restrict your comments to payment and contracts of Paki players only. Let BCCI decide about Indian players.— rakesh giri goswami (@rockygajendra) July 6, 2017
Rameez raja should mind his own business. Plus he's a terrible commentator!— Back2HealthLifestyle (@b2hlifestyle) July 5, 2017
