New Delhi:
After claiming clear shot victory over Sri Lanka in Test series, Team India celebrated Independence Day in Kandy by hoisting national flag. The flag was unfurled by Indian skipper Virat Kohli along with head coach Ravi Shastri and support staff and family members of few players.
BCCI took Twitter handle to share a video of the event and captioned it, "#TeamIndia gathered at Kandy to hoist the tri-colour on the occasion of Independence Day #IndependenceDayIndia’’.

Team India is all set to play five-match ODI series against Sri Lanka starting from August 20.
