Former Real Madrid goalkeeper and Spain sensation Iker Casillas, who is now plying trade for Portuguese side FC Porto, has been rushed to hospital after suffering a heart attack during training. The World Cup winner is, however, ‘out of danger’ and is ‘doing well’ as per the Portuguese club according to TVI24. The legendary goalkeeper is now likely to be ruled out for the rest of the season after suffering the heart attack. According to reports, the iconic goalkeeper had collapsed during a training drill on Wednesday.

Casillas underwent emergency surgery and is now in a stable condition and is recovering at Hospital CUF in Porto. Iker’s former Real Madrid and Spain teammate Sergio Ramos took to social media platform Twitter to send his best wishes for the former Los Blancos and Spain captain.
