The ICC Cricket World Cup 2019 is just one day away with England taking on South Africa on May 30 at The Oval. The World Cup is back in England after 20 years and the hosts will be bidding to win the cup for the first time. The demand for tickets in this quadrennial event is massive and most of England and India’s games have been sold out. Virat Kohli’s Indian cricket team are the star attractions and obviously, most of their games have been sold out. However, there are still some games which the fans can still view. Here is how you can book tickets for the games and here are the prices.

How to book tickets online?

Go to the official https://tickets.cricketworldcup.com and you need to create or register an account to apply for tickets. The tickets will be available to purchase on a first-come, first served basis. The tickets will be sent out by Royal Mail Tracked, or DHL Tracked for overseas delivery. Once the tickets are on the way, the applicant will receive a tracking number from either Royal Mail/DHL. The latest one can receive the tickets is 5 days before the selected match.

Which matches are sold out?

As expected, most of the India games are sold out and one will have to burn their wallets to get a ticket in black. However, India vs West Indies still has tickets available as well as India vs Bangladesh. Here are the matches that have been sold out

What is the cost of the ticket?

Most important. The cheapest ticket will be 40 British Pounds, which is Rs 3600. The most expensive is 100 British Pounds, which is approximately Rs 9000. However, the ICC’s ticketing policy has stated that 80,000 tickets will cost GBP 20 or less and 200,000 will cost GBP 50 or less, so supporters of other teams are likely to find value when tickets go on sale.

For which matches are the tickets cheap and expensive?

For the GBP 40 ticket, it will be for England's matches against Bangladesh and Afghanistan or India's match against Afghanistan. England and India fans will pay a minimum of GBP 55 to see their teams and GBP 70 in the biggest games.
