Live Cricket Updates: Pakistan has chosen to bat against South Africa at the Lord's in London. With both teams virtually out of the semifinal race, South Africa and Pakistan will be battling it out for a consolation win in their World Cup match at the ‘home of cricket’ Lord’s in London on Sunday. Having mustered just three points from six games, South Africa are all but out of the tournament while Pakistan might still sneak into the semifinals, provided they win their remaining four games and other results go in their favour. It will also be the first match at the Lord’s in the ICC Cricket World Cup 2019 and it remains to be seen how the pitch will play. (LIVE SCORECARD)

22:50 hrs IST: WICKET! Third wicket for Wahab Riaz. Lungi Ngidi departs for 1.

22:38 hrs IST: WICKET! Another wicket down. Wahab Riaz is using all his experience at this stage. Pakistan is now just two wickets away. After 47 overs, it's 239/8.

Massive moment in the game and South Africa in trouble now. Departs for 63. Statistically, Mohammad Amir is now the highest wicket taker in 2019 World Cup.

21:10 hrs IST: Faf du Plessis and van de Dussen are trying to rotate the strike and take South Africa close to Pakistan's mammoth total.  

21:00 hrs IST: WICKET! South Africa sink further. Markram was struggling to rotate the strike and his struggle finally comes to an end. Tahir got a couple of wickets earlier in the day and it's now time for Shadab Khan to have a ball. This one was a straighter delivery that skid along the deck and kept low. Markram plays for the spin and makes a mess of it, beaten and the stumps are rattled. Shadab's hands go up in the air as he celebrates and the young batsman goes back to the hut. 

20:53 hrs IST: South Africa is now just two shy from 100-run mark. After 22 overs, it's 98/2. 

20:50 hrs IST: Three single from the over. After 21 overs, it's 95/2. 

20:47 hrs IST: Two runs and a wicket. After 20 overs, it's 92/2. 

20:44 hrs IST: WICKET! Just one the partnership was building, Quinton de Kock threw his wicket away. Shadab Khan tossed the ball up and de Kock couldn't time it well. Departs for 47. After 19.2 overs, it's 91/2.

There was a hint of inswing but everything about this appeared to be leg-sidish. Oh well, what do I know! It's pitched in line with leg, straightened and would've crashed into leg-stump as per ball-tracking.

18:46 hrs IST: WICKET! Slower one from Ngidi and Haris didn't read it. Departs for 89. 

18:44 hrs IST: WICKET! Knocked him over. Wahab Riaz wanted to go big but missed it completely. Sixth wicket falls, Ngidi gets his second. 

18:41 hrs IST: 300-up for Pakistan and Haris Sohail is 12 away from a well-deserved 100. After 49 overs, it's 304/5. 

18:35 hrs IST: WICKET! Ngidi is taking pace off here, which eventually is making difficult for two set batsmen to score. Just one boundary off the 48th over and all-important wicket of Imad Wasim. Wasim tried to go over the top and failed to time it to perfection.  It's 295/5.

18:10 hrs IST: FIFTY! How good has Haris Sohail been today? - Gets to his fifty, and more importantly, adds valuable runs for his side. His 11th ODI fifty.

18:04 hrs IST: WICKET! Andile bowled a good length delivery and Babar Azam tried to smash it over cover fielder, but the bat turns in his hand and went straight to deep cover fielder. Se batsman departs. BIG wicket for South Africa. After 42 overs, it's 229/4.

18:00 hrs IST: Four runs off the over. After 40 overs, it's 217/3. With 10 overs still to play, Pakistan will look to add at least 90-100 runs. They have two set batsmen at the crease, and with seven wickets in hand, they will look to up the scoring rate.
