Before the start of the game, the skipper of Mumbai Indians, Rohit Sharma termed the clash against Chennai Super Kings ElClassico of the Indian Premier League, and one has to say, it panned out in exact same way. Rohit Sharma registered a half-century after 16 long innings, but it came at a time when team needed the most. His 67 along with Evin Lewis' 32 helped Mumbai Indians to post 155 runs on the board. 

In response, the hosts lost a few wickets at the start, and never really recovered post that. Lasith Malinga showed his class once again and picked four crucial wickets to help Mumbai Indians win by 46 runs at Chepauk Stadium. The two teams have virtually made it to the playoffs now. The road for Royal Challengers Bangalore, Rajasthan Royals, and Kolkata Knight Riders becomes more tough. SCORECARD

The powerplay belongs to Chennai Super Kings. They have been able to keep Mumbai batsmen quiet and also sent Quinton de Kock back to pavilion. Both Lewis and Rohit are trying to rebuild the innings. After 6 overs, it's 45/1. 

WICKET: Deepak Chahar bowls a slower one, and Quinton de Kock gets a top-edge. Went straight into the hands of Rayudu. OUT for 15.

It is highly likely that Ambati Rayudu will be behind the stumps. 

Okay, so the news from the centre is MS Dhoni is not feeling well and will not be playing today. Suresh Raina will lead in his absence. 

The toss is scheduled to happen in 90 minutes from now, and team winning the toss will look to have a bowl first and restrict the opposition for a low score. Chepauk experienced dew in last few games, and batting second will definitely be easier. However, this remains to be seen if toss-winning captain calls the same.
