Hardik Pandya is one of the most flamboyant all-rounders in the world of cricket and his contribution to Mumbai Indian’s win over Chennai Super Kings in the ongoing IPL 2019 proved why he will an important player for India in the upcoming ICC World Cup 2019. Pandya blew away the CSK team in Wankhede with an amazing performance with both ball and bat.
Pandya scored a quickfire 25* off just 8 balls with 3 sixes and then picked up 3 wickets including that of CSK skipper MS Dhoni to put the game out of the defending champions’ reach, halting them to 133/8 in 20 overs.
He was awarded as the man-of-the-match for his sensational performance. With this, when almost everyone seems to be appreciating him for his performance, Ishant Sharma, who too is having a great IPL took a dig at Pandya and posted an image on Twitter and captioned, Hi @hardikpandya7!! Do we remember clicking this picture? PC - @PratimaSinghBB
To this, Hardik Pandya responded and said, "Absolutely buddy. Calm before storm."
Meanwhile, Pandya will try and produce more such performances before the forthcoming World Cup, which eventually will help him to start the premier tournament confidently.
