New Delhi:

Royal Challengers Bangalore have chosen to bowl against Sunrisers Hyderabad at Uppal. However, things went downhill for Virat Kohli's side as David Warner and Jonny Bairstow decimated the Royal Challengers Bangalore bowling attack. Bairstow, in particular, was vicious with the RCB bowlers as they ended up conceeding boundaries on a regular basis. The partnership between Bairstow and Warner was 185, which is the highest opening stand ever in the history of the IPL. Bairstow notched up his maiden ton and his 114, combined with David Warner's blazing fourth ton boosted Sunrisers Hyderabad to 231/2, their highest total in the history of the IPL. Royal Challengers Bangalore  blown away by Mohammad Nabi's spell of 4/11 as they were blown away for 113, losing the contest by 118 runs. (SCORECARD)

All over! Sunrisers Hyderabad have mauled Royal Challengers Bangalore by 118 runs. This has been an absolute thrashing and Virat Kohli would be wanting to forget this game quickly.

Another run-out for Royal Challengers Bangalore and this is a meek end to what has been a terrible performance from Royal Challengers Bangalore.

The fun has ended for Prayas Ray Barman as he chips a knuckle ball from Sandeep Sharma to midwicket.

The fifty-run stand is up between Prayas Ray Barman and Colin de Grandhomme. This is only a small ray of happiness in what has been a dismal outing for Virat Kohli's side.

De Grandhomme is having some fun but it looks a lost cause now for Royal Challengers Banglaore. This is a thorough thrashing.

De Grandhomme is keeping things interesting by hitting a six and a four off Rashid Khan. However, it is only delaying the inevitable. The asking rate has crossed 20.

De Grandhomme blasts a six off Siddarth Kaul but the asking rate is close to 20. It is only a matter of time one feels.

Prayas Ray Varman and Colin de Grandhomme are trying to give some respectability to the total but it is looking a very uphill task.

Mohammad Nabi's dream spell has ended. 4-0-11-4. What a sensational exhibition of bowling. For Royal Challengers Bangalore, they can only hope to reduce the margin of defeat now.

Nabi gets his fourth wicket and Shivam Dube falls. He holes out to long on and Royal Challengers Bangalore are staring at humiliation.

That is the death blow for Royal Challengers Bangalore. Virat Kohli drives airily and he falls for 3 to Sandeep Sharma. Moeen Ali is out and there are just Colin de Grandhomme and Shivam Dube remaining as the proper batsmen.

WICKET: Knocked him over. RCB has lost its track here. Dangerous de Villiers departs for just 1. Nabi picks his third.

WICKET: Another failure for Shimron Hetmyer. Nabi tossed the ball up for Hetmyer and he tried to go down the track and missed it by some margin. Nabi on a hat-trick now!

WICKET: Bhuvneshwar Kumar decided to play Mohammad Nabi today, and he delivers. Parthiv Patel was looking good for his 11 but just couldn't continue for long. Nabi bowled a full toss delivery and Patel smashed straight into the hands of cover fielder.

Parthiv Patel opens his arms and smashed the ball through the cover region to get the RCB innings going. RCB has made a cautious start here with both Hetmyer and Patel taking their time before opening their arms. After 1 over, it's 7/0.

Okay, so we are back for the second innings and Bhuvnesh Kumar will start for SRH as Parthiv Patel is joined with a new opener that is Shimron Hetmyer! HERE WE GO!

David Warner has done it. He scores his fourth century and Sunrisers Hyderabad have reached 231/2, their highest-ever score in the IPL and Royal Challengers Bangalore have a big task on their cards.

David Warner is now into the 90s. Can he score a century? This will probably be the first instance when two batsmen have scored a century during an innings in the IPL.

Warner and Shankar continue the carnage but a good throw from AB de Villiers catches Vijay Shankar short of the crease and he falls for 9. Royal Challengers Bangalore are trying to fight back but Sunrisers Hyderabad are well past 200.

Bairstow falls for 114 with Yuzvendra Chahal taking the catch. The 185-run stand is the highest opening partnership in the history of the IPL, breaking the previous stand of 184 between Chris Lynn and Gautam Gambhir for Kolkata Knight Riders against Gujarat Lions.

After a sensational first over from 16-year-old Prayas Ray Barman, he gets hit for 56 runs in his allotted four overs. This is a nightmare debut for the youngster.

The carnage is continuing with Bairstow hitting his sixth six and Warner also nearing his century. What a brilliant exhibition of batting this is.

What a moment for Jonny Bairstow. The Englishman tucks the offspinner to the deep midwicket fence for a couple. He leaps in joy and this is a great moment for Bairstow.

The partnership between Bairstow and Warner is well past 150. Records are getting broken quickly. This is the highest-ever opening stand for Sunrisers Hyderabad in the IPL.

4,6,4. Jonny Bairstow is absolutely tearing Royal Challengers Bangalore apart. He is nearing a century.

Jonny Bairstow and David Warner have become the first pair in IPL history to stitch three consecutive 100-plus century stands. Who says Australia and England cannot work together? This partnership is proof.

Jonny Bairstow and David Warner continue to flay the bowling to all parts of the ground. Bairstow mauls Colin de Grandhomme for two massive sixes.

6,4,4. Brilliant stuff from Jonny Bairstow as he notches up his maiden fifty in the IPL. What a moment for him. Warner is also batting brilliantly.

Super first over from Prayas Ray Barman. Just six runs in the over and Yuzvendra Chahal is also controlling the flow of runs.

Prayas Ray Barman, at the age of 16 years and 157 days, is into the attack. He is the youngest player ever to play in the IPL.

Jonny Bairstow blasts two boundaries off Siraj, one through point and one over mid-off. The lofted shot was a mishit but the square cut was a cracking shot.

Warner and Bairstow have notched up the fifty-run opening stand and the England keeper brings it up with a square cut off Umesh Yadav.

David Warner is blazing away, just like how the sun is blazing away in Hyderabad. Jonny Bairstow continues to be in good form. Sunrisers Hyderabad are off to a flier.

Here are the playing XIs of both the sides

Royal Challengers Bangalore (Playing XI): Parthiv Patel(w), Moeen Ali, Virat Kohli(c), AB de Villiers, Shimron Hetmyer, Colin de Grandhomme, Shivam Dube, Yuzvendra Chahal, Umesh Yadav, Mohammed Siraj, Prayas Barman

Royal Challengers Bangalore have chosen to bowl against Sunrisers Hyderabad. Prayas Ray Barman, the Under-19 star is in the side while Sunrisers Hyderabad have included Mohammad Nabi.

For Sunrisers Hyderabad, they will also rely on the exploits of Rashid Khan, the ace legspinner.

Virat Kohli and AB de Villiers shore up the batting for Royal Challengers Bangalore. This has been their problem, which is lack of support from the remaining batsmen.

David Warner is in great form heading into the match and the Sunrisers Hyderabad batting is in great shape. When it comes to Royal Challengers Bangalore, their fortunes depend on how Virat Kohli, AB de Villiers and Yuzvendra Chahal bowl.

Hello and a warm welcome to the match between Sunrisers Hyderabad and Royal Challengers Bangalore from Uppal. Sunrisers Hyderabad got going with a win over Rajasthan Royals while Royal Challengers Bangalore slipped for the second time. A loss today could hurt their chances immensely.
