Hardik slammed two sixes and a four in the final over while Pollard smashed a massive six as Dwayne Bravo conceded 29 runs in his final over. In response, Chennai Super Kings lost Shane Watson and Ambati Rayudu cheaply. Suresh Raina started well but Kieron Pollard's catch ended his innings. Kedar Jadhav hit his fourth fifty but Chennai Super Kings lost the services of MS Dhoni and Ravindra Jadeja.
