Mumbai Indians have chosen to bat against Chennai Super Kings, with Rohit Sharma's side including Mitchell McClenaghan in place of Jayant Yadav. Imran Tahir picked up two wickets and became the leading wicket-taker in the 2019 edition of the tournament. Kieron Pollard's 41* helped Mumbai Indians reach 149/8. Shane Watson blasted 80 and kept Chennai Super Kings in the hunt but Lasith Malinga bowled a perfect last over as Mumbai Indians won by one run. Kieron Pollard blasts two consecutive fours off Dwayne Bravo and Mumbai Indians finish on 149/8. This will be a tricky task for Chennai Super Kings but there was a moment of controversy in the final over regarding a wide. The umpire did not signal it and Pollard was furious as he decided to take guard closer to the tramline. The umpires warned him and the anger seems to have come out on Bravo and the last two balls.
