A stupendous all-around performance by the hosts managed to hammer the Kolkata Knight Riders in most obnoxious manner possible. They came with a set plan and managed to execute them perfectly. Bowlers bowled in the right areas and restricted Knight Riders for a below-par score of 133 runs. Chasing that target, Quinton de Kock and Rohit Sharma set the innings beautifully to keep the momentum on their side. Once de Kock departed, Rohit Sharma continued the innings maturely and eventually managed get his team over the line with 3.5 overs to spare. They will now take on Chennai Super Kings in Qualifier 1. SCORECARD

With two experience batsman at the crease, Kolkata will be hoping for a comeback. After 10 overs, 61/2. 

WICKET: Two in two overs for Hardik Pandya! Pandya bowls a slower one, and Chris Lynn played away from his body, gets a top-edge and straight to the keeper. Openers back to the pavilion. 

WICKET: Rohit Sharma introduced Hardik pandya into the attack, and he delivers on the first ball itself. The young sensation Shubman gill departs after scoring 9 runs. Trapped right in front.

Mumbai Indians bowlers have been able to keep the two openers quiet. KKR haven't been able to score a boundary yet, and Rohit Sharma will be happy with this start! Afetr 2 overs, it's 5/0.

The toss is scheduled to happen at 19:30 IST and team winning will look to have a bowl first and restrict the opposition for a low score. However, this remains to be seen if toss-winning captain goes with the same mindset. 

Mumbai Indian, the host will look to add another win under their belt and finish in top two in points table. Kolkata, on the other hand, need to win this game if they want to qualify for the playoffs. 

The last league game of the ongoing edition of the Indian Premier League will be played between Mumbai Indians and Kolkata Knight Riders, and one has to say, this is a game to be watched out for.
