Hardik Pandya's 37 runs off 16 balls while chasing 171 runs was a great effort from him which eventually helped Mumbai Indians register their fifth victory in the ongoing season of the Indian Premier League. For Royal Challengers Bangalore, the loss has only ousted them from the tournament. They have now lost seven games, and it's nearly impossible for them to make it through to the playoffs. SCORECARD

RESULT: Mumbai Indians beat Royal Challengers Bangalore by 5 wickets (AB de Villiers 75, Lasith Malinga 4/31)

Krunal Pandya is having a difficult time at the wicket. Just couldn't find the bat meet ball. Even then, Mumbai is just 45 runs away from a comfortable win. 

The wickets aare tumbling at a regular interval but Mumbai Indians' batsmen are keeping the momentum on their side. After 11 overs, it's 108/3.

Good move by Rohit Sharma. He introduced Lasith Malinga in the 13th over of the innings, and he is utilising his experience to the fullest. For RCB, AB de Villiers needs to bat deep. After 13 overs, it's 97/2.

It wouldn't be wrong to say that the visitors are struggling to get to a decent total here. Hardik Pandya and Rahul Chahar have bowled in good line, and haven't let Moeen Ali and AB de Villiers to open their arms. With half overs done, RCB needs something special. After 10 overs, it's 70/2. 

WICKET: Hardik Pandya bowled a short of a length delivery, Parthiv Patel tried to play it between point and cover fielder but smashed staright into the hands of point fielder. Second wicket down!
