New Delhi:
Star Indian shuttler Kidambi Srikanth on Sunday defeated Korea’s Lee Hyun-Il 21-10, 21-5 to clinch the coveted Denmark Open Super Series title.
It was more of a one sided affair and Hyun-Il never looked to pose any challenge right from the beginning of the match. Srikanth took just 25 mins to decimate his Korean opponent.
It was Srikanth’s 3rd Super Series title win. Earlier this year, he had won the Australian and Indonesian Open Super Series titles.
Srikanth had a stellar run in the tourney and his biggest win came in form of stunning World Champ Victor Alexsen in the quarterfinals.
