We are on the road to Wrestlemania 34 which will take place on April 8 from New Orleans. Last Sunday, RAW superstars battled it out inside the Elimination Chamber match to earn a spot at the grandest stage of them all.

Seven male superstars entered the chamber match to become the number one contender for the Universal championship and face Brock Lesnar at WM 34. In the end, it was Roman Reigns who overcame all the odds and emerged as the winner.

Roman Reigns, Asuka, Alexa Bliss and Shinsuke Nakamura have already booked a spot at Mania but one of the most popular faces of WWE, John Cena is yet to secure a match. The free agent reached Smackdown on Tuesday and said that he is ready to do whatever it takes to be part of Wrestlemania.

The free agent suggested he be added to the WWE title match at the upcoming pay per view Fastlane.

Smackdown general manager Daniel Byran put John Cena in a non-title match against WWE champion AJ styles, with the stipulation that if he wins, the ‘Cenation’ leader will be added to the maint event at Fastlane.

The 16-time world champion defeated AJ Styles in a thrilling encounter and earned a championship opportunity at Fastlane. The WWE title match at the pay per view will now be a six-pack challenge.

AJ Styles will now have to defend her title against five other competitors including Baron Corbin, Dolph Ziggler, Sami Zayn, Kevin Owens and John Cena. After the match Corbin, Owens and Zayn tried to attack John Cena but Ziggler came to the rescue and took them out with his superkick.

The ‘Showoff’ then smashed Styles before being hit with an Attitude adjustment from John Cena. The statement made by Cena was enough to put everyone at notice and suggest he’s coming for the title.

The main event of Fastlane will be quite special for John Cena as a victory in the match will not only make him the WWE champion but also a record 17-time world champion.
