Cuttak:

In a setback to team India, rain washed all hopes for a match to happen in Cuttak and as a result making path to victory for Dhoni brigade more difficult.

Odisha Cricket Association (OCA) on Friday said that with remote chances of hosting the match they would refund the money in case the fifth ODI between India and Australia does not happen.

"We deeply regret to mention that the sunny weather which we expected on Friday has failed to come true. The ground is completely waterlogged and the chances of drying up are extremely remote. The pitch however is safe but the outfield may cause harm to fielders," Behera said.

"In this scenario, if the match is called off we intend to refund the money to the ticket holders from November 8-15 between 10am to 5pm at the three ticket counters of the Barabati Stadium," he added.

Those who purchased online would get the refunds directly remitted to their respective accounts, Behera said.

After OCA announcement, Ravindra Jadeja also hosted a press conference and mentioned that in case fifth ODI gets washed out they will need to win all the remaining matches to get hold of the trophy.

He also praised Australian team for their play in last four ODIs.

‘’Australia has played extremely well, they are no. 2 team in world so it’s a good battle going on,’’ said Ravindra Jadeja.

The scheduled start is 1.30 pm, while the gates would be open at 8.30 am on Saturday.
