India and Bangladesh is playing their first ever Pink Ball Test at the historic Eden Gardens and the match will witness many firsts. As India lost the toss and was asked to bowl first, it was evident that the name of first wicket taker will find himself in the history books and it was Ishant Sharma.
Ishant took first ever wicket with Pink ball when he took wicket of Imrul Kayes in the 7th over. Not only that, he even took five wicket in the first ever Pink ball Test at the Eden Gardens.
He took wickets of Imrul Kayes, Mahmudullah, Nayeem Hasan, Ebadat Hossain and Mehidy Hasan. Indian pacers dished out a splendid performance to bowl out Bangladesh for 106 on the opening day of their maiden Day/Night Test here on Friday.
Ishant Sharma (5/22) claimed five wickets, Umesh Yadav (3/29) snapped three while Mohammed Shami (2/36) took two.
