The Indian cricket team stayed alive in the three-match Twenty20 International series with a magnificent seven-wicket win in the Auckland clash against New Zealand. After a poor game in Wellington where they were outplayed in all departments, Rohit Sharma’s side bounced back in grand style with a clinical performance across all departments. The Indian team was boosted by the efforts of Rohit, who led from the front and smashed a magnificent fifty to boost India. Aided by Rishabh Pant’s aggressive 40, India sealed the deal in Eden Park and heading into the final game in Seddon Park, Hamilton, both sides have a chance of winning the series.
In the Auckland clash, the Indian cricket team finally broke a 10-year jinx in New Zealand while Rohit reaffirmed himself as one of the best players in the Twenty20 International format. In the Auckland game, the team broke a couple of records. Here is a list

2 – Number of sixes needed by Rohit to become the leading six-hitter in T20Is. Guptill and Gayle have hit 103 sixes in this format.
1 – Number of wins for India in T20Is in New Zealand. In 2009, they lost both the games while they suffered a big loss in Wellington.
