New Delhi:
India’s Vice-captain Rohit Sharma recently went down the memory lane and shared a picture on his social media handle which grabbed eyeballs of many cricket buffs. Trolls found the image as lighter fluid and pointed out the blunder made by the Indian opener.
In order to celebrate India’s win at the 2013 ICC Champions Trophy, Rohit Sharma shared a picture of himself along with Suresh Raina, Bhuvneshwar Kumar and Shikhar Dhawan with the trophy. It was not the image which was trolled but a simple hashtag which was used in the caption section which became the laughing stock for trolls.
Even, Suresh Raina took a dig at Rohit Sharma and wrote, ‘’indeed memories to cherish for life brother, but ones from 2013. You got me tricked too’’.
Team India on Saturday nearly pulled out a win from Afghanistan’s hand despite Mohammed Nabi’s outstanding performance with bat and ball.
In the match, Mohammed Shami created history as he became the second Indian after Chetan Sharma to take a hat-trick in the ICC Cricket World Cup. Shami's feat helped India win a tense encounter against Afghanistan by 11 runs in Southampton on Saturday as they continued their unbeaten run in the ICC Cricket World Cup 2019
