After the end of the World Cup and prior to the Indian cricket team's tour of the Caribbean, there were plenty of rumours that there was a 'rift' between Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma. The reports had gained such credulence that Kohli, before leaving for the Caribbean, had to say that he found the reports 'baffling'. However, in a video shared on the official Twitter handle of the BCCI, Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma are seen having a great time and are having plenty of fun. In the one-minute video, Rohit Sharma and Ravindra Jadeja are playing the 'heads up challenge', a kind of dumb charades.

In the first video, Rohit had to unveil a placard without seeing which had the name of a player. Ravindra Jadeja had to mimick a particular action or gesture and it was upto Rohit to guess the player's name correctly. In the first instance, Jadeja mimicked Jasprit Bumrah's action and it proved to be correct, leading to plenty of guffaws with Rohit stating that something difficult should be given.

In the second instance, Jadeja copied Virat Kohli's routine before facing a ball and mimicked him leaving the ball, but Rohit looked confused. After another gesture where he would fiddle with his glove, Rohit got that correct and Kohli, who was sitting just meters away asked, "Kya hua? (What happened)". Below is the entire video.

India started their tour of the West Indies on a high by whitewashing the West Indies 3-0 in the Twenty20 International series. Rohit became the leading six-hitter in the Twenty20 International format when he broke Chris Gayle's record while Virat Kohli became the leading run-getter for India in Twenty20s as he smashed a fifty and along with Rishabh Pant's maiden fifty in Guyana helped India secure their sixth consecutive win against the two-time World T20 champions.

The first ODI between India and West Indies in Providence Stadium, Guyana ended in a no-result due to rain. The second match of the three-match series begins on August 11 in Port-of-Spain, Trinidad.
