New Delhi:

Kings XI Punjab portrayed an epitome of chasing down a stiff total in this format and have made some statement here at Mohali. They were unbeaten at Mohali last year and they have continued that winning run this year too. Both Rahul and Gayle who are renowned for using the powerplay held themselves back as Bumrah and Malinga were controlling the proceedings at that time. As soon as Pandya came to the crease, Gayle clobbered him for a six. But Rohit's gamble of bringing Krunal paid off. Mayank came at number three and played a gem of a knock. At that point, Rahul was struggling at the other end but Mayank ensured there wasn't any pressure on Rahul. He stayed till the end and steered Punjab to their second victory.
