Rajasthan Royals have chosen to bowl against Sunrisers Hyderabad. Manish Pandey blasted a fifty and along with David Warner's aggressive knock helped Sunrisers Hyderabad reach an ideal platform for a big score. However, Rajasthan Royals took six wickets and conceded just 39 runs in the death overs but Rashid Khan's cameo helped Sunrisers Hyderabad reach 160/8. In response, Liam Livingstone and Ajinkya Rahane started well with a blazing opening stand and Sanju Samson blasted 48 as Rajasthan Royals won by seven wickets and kept their playoff hopes alive. Get highlights of the clash between Rajasthan Royals and Sunrisers Hyderabad at the Sawai Mansingh stadium in Jaipur here. (SCORECARD)

00:03 hrs IST: Jaydev Unadkat, Man of the Match: I needed them in such tough moments, really glad. I think they had a good powerplay but we always knew we could come back once it was over. It was going to get harder and harder.

23:59 hrs IST: Steve Smith: It was a good end to our home season, the boys pulled things back nicely. Liam Livingstone was magnificent as he played with freedom and got us off to a good start. Samson finished things off nicely. Playing together as a group and we're winning those key moments.

23:55 hrs IST: Kane Williamson: It was quite difficult out there. It was potentially a competitive total at the halfway stage. They did better than us. They kept wickets in hand, we couldn't get those breakthroughs and squeeze. It's important to learn from our mistakes.

23:50 hrs IST: With Rajasthan Royals' win, Chennai Super Kings have qualified for the playoffs.

23:38 hrs IST: Brilliant stuff from Samson and he finishes the match in style by pulling Shakib to the wide long on fence for a boundary. Rajasthan Royals win by seven wickets and have kept their playoff hopes alive. For Sunrisers Hyderabad, it is back to the drawing board and every game now is a must-win situation.

23:27 hrs IST: BREAKING! Ashton Turner finally scores a run in the IPL. His sequence of five consecutive T20 ducks is broken.

23:22 hrs IST: The fifty-run partnership is up between Steve Smith and Sanju Samson but Smith falls in the quest for quick runs as Rajasthan Royals close in on a win.

23:15 hrs IST: Rajasthan Royals need 24 off 24 balls to win. If they can chase the target down in 17.4 overs, they will jump to fourth in the points table. Does not look like the case though.

23:08 hrs IST: Rashid Khan drops Sanju Samson off Khaleel Ahmed. The fielding from both sides have been terrible in this encounter today and this could be costly for Sunrisers Hyderabad.

23:01 hrs IST: Siddarth Kaul continues to leak runs as Sanju Samson creams two boundaries. Rajasthan Royals are closing in on a victory here.

22:54 hrs IST: Rahane misses out on a fifty. Shakib Al Hasan floats this flighted delivery outside off and Rahane thumps it to wide long off but Warner takes a fine catch.

22:51 hrs IST: Brilliant timing from Sanju Samson as he lashes an inside-out drive over extra cover for a six. Siddarth Kaul continues to leak runs and Rajasthan Royals continue to dominate.

22:42 hrs IST: Brilliant from Rashid Khan as he bounces back. The flatter legbreak and it spins away just outside off, Livingstone looks to nudge it to the leg side but gets a faint edge that is taken by the keeper.

22:30 hrs IST: Livingstone misses the ramp scoop and Sunrisers Hyderabad appeal for an LBW but the ball is missing the stumps. They have lost the review and next ball, the English player clobbers Rashid to the deep midwicket fence for a boundary.

22:26 hrs IST: 6,4,4,6! Liam Livingstone tears apart Siddarth Kaul as he concedes 20 runs in his opening over. Rajasthan Royals have zoomed away to 60/0 in the powerplay and are looking ominous.

22:15 hrs IST: After Rashid Khan gets hit by Rahane, Livingstone joins in the fun and deposits Rashid Khan into the stands at deep midwicket. Great start by Rajasthan Royals.

22:13 hrs IST: Rahane smashes a couple of boundaries and a six off Rashid Khan as Rajasthan Royals start well.

22:04 hrs IST: Superb start for Ajinkya Rahane as he creams a Bhuvneshwar Kumar outswinger to the deep extra cover fence in style.

21:48 hrs IST: Rashid Khan hits a boundary and a six off the last over bowled by Varun Aaron as Sunrisers Hyderabad reached 160/8. This is a tricky total on this wicket.

21:43 hrs IST: Varun Aaron bowls the back of the hand slower ball, he sees the batsman charging and bangs it short and close to the body, Bhuvneshwar has to adjust and he tamely chips it to midwicket where Unadkat takes the catch.

21:36 hrs IST: Flurry of wickets in the death has put Rajasthan Royals on top against Sunrisers Hyderabad. Shakib mistimes the lofted shot to widish long on off Unadkat where Gopal takes the catch and flings the ball away. Probably angry of the catch he had dropped earlier.

21:33 hrs IST: Rajasthan Royals continue to flounder in the field. Saha top-edges the scoop pull to fine leg where Shreyas Gopal drops the catch. However, next ball, Saha charges down the track, Oshane Thomas drags it short and the edge is taken by Samson.

21:26 hrs IST: Sunrisers Hyderabad are losing their way in the death overs. A slower ball from Jaydev Unadkat and Deepak Hooda tamely chips the catch back to the bowler who takes a leaping one-handed catch to his left.

21:22 hrs IST: Vijay Shankar hoicks a full ball from Aaron but Jaydev Unadkat runs in and takes a tumbling catch at deep midwicket. Rajasthan Royals fighting back in the death overs.

21:16 hrs IST: Brilliant stuff from Shreyas Gopal. The flatter googly just outside off stump, Manish Pandey looks to run it down to third man but the ball takes the edge and is superbly held by Sanju Samson.

20:56 hrs IST: Oshane Thomas removes David Warner at 37

20:53 hrs IST: Manish Pandey hits 50, SRH 103/1 after 12 overs

20:50 hrs IST: After 11 overs, SunRisers Hyderabad 93/1 with Warner (35) and Pandey (43) at crease

20:40 hrs IST: Back-to-back boundaries by Manish Pandey which also brings up the 50-run partnership

20:34 hrs IST: Sunrisers Hyderabad end the powerplay in grand style by going past 50. Superb stuff from Warner and Manish Pandey.

20:23 hrs IST: Brilliant stuff from Shreyas Gopal. The quicker delivery that skids through on off stump, Williamson hangs back and looks to work it to the leg side but gets beaten and the ball pegs the off stump back.

20:15 hrs IST: Warner and Williamson have started well. Rajasthan Royals have not helped themselves with some sloppy fielding.

20:06 hrs IST: Varun Aaron starts proceedings and David Warner gets going with four overthrows. This is a very unique start.

19:45 hrs IST: Here are the playing XIs of both the teams

Sunrisers Hyderabad: David Warner, Kane Williamson(c), Manish Pandey, Vijay Shankar, Shakib Al Hasan, Wriddhiman Saha(w), Deepak Hooda, Rashid Khan, Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Siddarth Kaul, K Khaleel Ahmed

19:30 hrs IST: There are a lot of dry grass patches and there will be plenty of assistance for the spinners. A team getting to 160 could consider this total match-winning. Toss will be crucial.

19:24 hrs IST: This is the second-last match for both Steve Smith and David Warner for their respective sides. They will be leaving the IPL on April 30 to join Australia for a World Cup preparation camp.

19:15 hrs IST: A warm welcome to the crucial encounter between Sunrisers Hyderabad and Rajasthan Royals from the Sawai Mansingh stadium in Jaipur. A loss for Rajasthan Royals and their chances of reaching the playoffs are over. Sunrisers Hyderabad on the other hand will be determined to come closer to the playoff spot.
