A section in India is completely against people buying Chinese products in the country and keep on conducting campaigns on social media regarding the same issue.
Badminton star Saina Nehwal was attacked by some internet trolls due to her new phone and also termed anti-national.
Saina Nehwal shared a picture on her Facebook page with her Honor-8 phone. Honor-8 is a Chinese company and it was enough for social media army to unleash a tirade against her.
Comments such as ‘Don’t use Chinese products, they are dangerous for our country’, ‘How much money did you receive to endorse such products? Miss Saina, people think that you will also fly Pakistan’s flag on Indian soil for the sake of money.
However, Saina refrained from commenting against the social media trolls.
On the other hand, there were some social media users who also supported Saina Nehwal and lambasted people trying to shame her.
