Men Hockey stick with signatures of all team members of the Indian Men Hockey Team Tokyo Olympics 2020 was selected for the e-auction at the official website ‘PM Momentos’. The signature of the team members runs along the body of the hockey stick. The stick is full white in colour with rubber padding in the top half for better gripping.The stick has been selected for the auction at the base price of Rs. 80,00,000 with the highest quoted price standing at Rs.90,00,000. The Ministry has announced a website: https:/pmmementos.gov.in from where persons/organisations can participate in the e-Auction.
Last time India won a gold medal in Hockey was way back in 1980. Indian men's hockey team created history on August 5, 2021 by winning the bronze medal after a stunning 5-4 victory over Germany at the Tokyo Olympic Games 2020. The team has brought home India's first Olympic medal in hockey after 41 years. Now, a 41-year long drought has been broken. All the countrymen are thankful to the Indian Hockey Team 2020 for clearing the drought and fetching bronze in Tokyo Olympics 2020.

India's Rupinder Pal Singh and Simranjeet Singh scored to push India in the lead at 5-3. India maintained its lead in the thriller all the way to pick up the bronze. At Tokyo 2020, the 16 member Indian Hockey Team was led by mid-fielder Manpreet Singh, who is the first Indian Hockey player to be named the FIH’s men’s hockey player of the year 2019.
