India’s ace shuttler PV Sindhu on Saturday lost her match in semi-finals of BWF World Super Series Finals to South Korea’s Sung Ji Hyun in Dubai.
After losing the first game 15-21, Sindhu faughtback to win the second game 21-18 but wasn’t able to match her opponent in the deciding third game, which she lost 15-21.
Earlier on Friday, Olympic silver medallist P V Sindhu avenged her heart-breaking loss at the Rio Games to two-time World Champion Carolina Marin with a thrilling straight-game victory in a do-or-die women's singles Group B contest and sealed her place at the semifinals of the BWF World Super Series Finals in Dubai.
