London:

World number one Novak Djokovic cruised into the final of the BNP Paribas Open at Indian Wells following a comfortable straight sets win over Britain number one Andy Murray.

The Serbian took 88 minutes to claim a comfortable 6-2, 6-3 win over Murray and will face World number two Roger Federer , who overcame Milos Raonic 7-5, 6-4, in Sunday’s final.

Reflecting on his performance, Murray said that he would have liked to have started both sets better, adding that there is a reason why he is number one in the world, insisting that it was not always just about me, the BBC reported.

Meanwhile, defending champion Djokovic said that he was hoping he could be this comfortable and start with the right intensity, admitting that he made a crucial break at the start and Murray was not at his best.
