Sania Mirza and her partner Ivan Dodig defeated the Australian pair of Sam Groth and Samantha Stosur in the mixed doubles semifinals at the Rod Laver Arena on Friday to reach the grand finale in the Australian Open.

The Indo Croatian pair overcame a stiff challenge from their opponents to seal the semis in three tight sets 6-4,2-6,10-5.
