Are you a gadget freak? Planning to grab Apple's fancy-coloured iPhone XR anytime soon? Then this may be the right time for you to get your hands on it. Yes! If the latest media reports turn out to be true, all three models of Apple iPhone XR are retailing at a discounted price of up to Rs 6,400 this Valentine's season. However, the price cut is not official and is only available with a Mumbai-based retailer named Mahesh Telecom.
While the official website of Apple India and other authorised sellers, including Flipkart and Amazon India continue to sell the gadget for its original launch price, the Mahesh Telecom is giving a short-term discount to its consumers. While the 64GB variant of iPhone XR is offered at Rs 70,500, the 128GB and 256GB variants are being sold for Rs 75,500 and Rs 85,900 respectively.
"#Apple #iPhoneXR #Pricedrop 64GB our offer price Rs 70500/-, 128GB our offer price Rs.75500/-, 256GB our offer price Rs.85900/-," the Mumbai-based retailer wrote on Twitter.
In a related note, iPhone XR, which is a lower variant of the iPhone XS and iPhone XS Max, is also available for an EMI of Rs 3,299 with different authorised sellers across India. The luxurious twelfth generation iPhone was launched at a starting price of Rs 76,900 (64GB) last year in India, with the higher storage versions costing Rs 81,900 (128GB) and Rs 91,900 (256GB).
Let's have a quick look at the features and specifications of this high-quality smartphone:
iPhone XR sports a 6.1-inch Liquid Retina LCD display with 1792 X 828-pixel resolution and is powered by Apple’s A12 Bionic Chipset. It also features a single wide-angle rear camera of 12 MP resolution with f/1.8 aperture. Up front is a 7 MP TrueDepth camera with f/2.2 aperture and Retina Flash.
The smartphone has 3GB RAM for all storage models and carries a 2716 mAh battery. The phone comes with IP67 certification for water and dust resistance. The connectivity options include 4G VoLTE, Bluetooth 5.0, NFC and Wi-Fi. The phone comes in six colour options– red, yellow, white, coral, black and blue.
iPhone XR, which supports the newly introduced Face ID feature, comes with Apple's exclusive ‘haptic touch’ technology instead of that 3D Touch tech. Unlike other iPhones models, consumers are allowed to use an eSIM along with the nanoSIM in their brand-new iPhone XR.
