Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited, shortly known as BSNL, is all set to start its 4G services in the country from January. Kerala will be the first state to experience the 4G LTE services.

Anupam Shrivastava, BSNL Chairman and Managing Director, told PTI, “We are going to start 4G from Kerala. That will be our first circle on 4G LTE.”

The second state to experience the 4G services will be Odisha. It will focus on the areas where 3G coverage is low, as per operator.

The company has 5 MHz spectrum in 2100 MHz band which it will offer 4G services. It is seeking 5 MHz more spectrum in the band to roll out the 4G services in other areas as well.
