"Facebook is currently running a test that allows select users to share their Instagram Stories directly on WhatsApp, as a WhatsApp Status," reported TechCrunch, a leading technology media property.

The feature is currently available to a select group of people and will be rolled out to more after the test becomes successful.

Those small number of users will have a new option to 'tap' on their Instagram Stories that allows sharing the same directly on WhatsApp. However, users need to press 'send' in order to share their stories with WhatsApp contacts.
