Gadget freaks will be on cloud nine as Google is all set to introduce its XL-sized smartphone Google Pixel 2 XL and give a tough competition to Apple iPhone 8.
And what makes this new smartphone stand out is the squeezable frame, a feature that was earlier introduced in HTC U11 arch rivals like iPhone 8 and Galaxy S8 wont have. The pressure-sensitive frame will let users invoke Google Assistant, but also perform other actions, like silencing incoming calls.
Another key feature that counts is the processor to be included in the handset. It is largely anticipated that the Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 will be used, meaning that this will be a powerful smartphone.
The phone will also let users select different display profiles from the Settings app, including a normal screen mode as well as a 'Vivid Colors' option.
The flagship smartphone of the search engine giant will also carry a a 3,500 mAh cell.
"This new design, while evoking the theme of the first-generation Pixel XL in some very clear respects, is also a very substantial departure from that phone, as well," said Android Police back in July while talking about the same.
Moreover, LG will be responsible for making the display of the device which will likely to be 6-inches.
On the other hand, iPhone 8 is just a month away and Apple is gearing up to unveil iPhone 8 at an event in the first or second week of September (most likely September 12).
