Gadget freaks have all the reasons to feel on top of the world as American multinational company Hewlett-Packard (HP) on Tuesday launched the next-generation Spectre x360 laptop in India.

The mouth-watering device is one of the most premium offerings by HP in the country and available in two appealing variants. While the first variant with an Intel Core i5 processor is available for a price of Rs 115,290, the Core i7 version is priced at Rs 157,290.

The new Spectre x360 laptop sports the 8th-generation Intel Core processors, and is aiming to join the brigade of premium productivity laptops.

The device comes up with the HP Active Pen to take advantage of the touch screen for creativity usage.

Talking about the specifications, the HP Spectre x360 is powered by the 8th generation Intel Core i5 and Core i7 processor and runs on Windows 10 Pro (64-bit). The laptop is backed by either 360GB or 512GB of SSD storage depending on the version you choose. It comes loaded with 8GB or 16GB of DDR3 RAM and the 13.3-inch full-HD screen with a resolution of 1980 x 1020 pixel is among the flagship features of the device. Besides that, people are free to enjoy Intel UHD graphics 620 for the graphics subsystem and a Bang and Olufsen tuned audio through a quad speaker system.

The laptop weighs just 1.26 kilograms, and can be used as laptop, tablet and tent mode too. The Windows Ink certified HP Active Pen will help you experiencing a more natural drawing and writing experience on the screen. The body of the laptop is CNC machined aluminium, and comes in a dark ash silver colour with Copper accents. Additionally, you will get a fingerprint reader located on the side for easy access along with the latest powerful hardware.

On the battery front, Spectre x360 has a 3-cell, 60 Wh Li-ion polymer battery and is said to deliver up to 16.5 hours with HP Fast Charge technology. The device sports a full-sized island-style backlit keyboard and also features HP Imagepad with multi-touch gesture support.

While talking about the connectivity, it supports 2 Thunderbolt 3 (Data Transfer up to 40 Gb/s, Power Delivery, DP1.2, HP Sleep and Charge); 1 USB 3.1 Gen 1 (HP Sleep and Charge); 1 headphone/microphone combo; 1 microSD card reader, WiFi 802.11 a/g/n/ac and Bluetooth 4.2.
