Huawei has added a mid-range smartphone Nova 2 Lite in its line-up of phones. It is currently launched in Philippines and will go on sale from March 23 at a price of PHP 9,990 which is roughly equal to Rs 12,500.
However, the company has not spilled the beans about its global launch as of now. Meanwhile, Huawei is all geared up to launch P20 on March 27 in Paris.
Talking about its specifications, Nova 2 Lite comes with 5.99-inch HD display with a resolution of 720x1440 pixels and an aspect ratio of 18:9.
The handset runs on Android 8.0 Oreo-based EMUI 8.0 and is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 octa-core SoC.
Huawei Nova 2 Lite comes in only one variant, i.e. of 3GB RAM with an internal storage of 32GB which can be expanded to 128GB through micro-SD card.
On camera front, the newly-launched phone has a dual camera setup of 13MP primary camera and 2 MP secondary camera. It also sports an 8-megapixel selfie camera without LED flash.
The handset is backed by a 3000mAh battery and will be available in two colour variants, Blue and Black.
Other features include 4G LTE, VoLTE, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth, GPS, accelerometer, ambient light sensor, proximity sensor and fingerprint sensor.
It will be interesting to see the company’s plan to launch the smartphone in Indian market.
