Clicking pictures and uploading them on Instagram has become a part of your routine social life, isn’t it? The different modes and filters available on Instagram has made the entire process of photo-sharing an amazing experience.
The Facebook-owned company has rolled out a new bokeh camera mode which will allow the user to take portraits even on those phones which don’t have the feature of a portrait setting. The Focus mode will blur the background and keep the face sharp for a picture-perfect photo.
The mode can be found in the Instagram stories format, Boomerang and Superzoom in iPhone X, 6s, 6s, 7, 7 plus, 8, 8 plus and selected Android devices. The effect will work on both the front and rear cameras.
Using the new feature is quite easy as you need to open your Instagram story and swipe to the left twice. After you focus your camera on any person, the mode will automatically bring the person into focus and bur out the background.
Instagram has also rolled out Mentions for its iOS users, where you can tag your friends in a story with styled graphics. The photo-sharing app had text mentions before but this new feature is like cherry on the cake.
