Lava International Limited on Thursday officially announced price cut for its latest smartphone Lava Z91 in the Indian market by Rs 2,000. The handset will now be available for Rs 7,999 for 3GB RAM variant and the 2GB RAM version will be available for Rs 7,499 over several online retailer and offline stores across the country. The LAVA Z91 also comes with free one-time screen replacement worth Rs 2,500. The budget smartphone was launched in March this year.
On specifications front, LAVA Z91 has a 5.7-inch HD display with a resolution of 720x1440 pixels and 18:9 aspect ratio. It also comes with a Full View display panel and 2.5D curved glass.
The handset is powered by MediaTek MT6739 SoC quad-core along with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage. However, this can be expanded up to 128GB.
On optics front, LAVA Z91 has a 13-megapixel rear camera with f/2.0 aperture, LED flash and Bokeh mode as well. For selfies, it has an 8-megapixel camera with an aperture f/2.2 and LED flash.
Connectivity features of the handset includes 4G LTE, WiFi, Bluetooth, FM Radio, a micro-USB port, 3.5 mm jack. The main attraction of LAVA Z91 is its face unlock feature with which the smartphone is capable of recognising the users face in just 0.7 seconds.
The dual-sim smartphone runs on android 7.1 Nougat and is backed by a huge 3000mAh battery.
