Finnish company HMD Global is expected to launch the Nokia 6.1 Plus (Nokia X6) in India on August 21 that was recently launched in China. Ahead of the event, HMD Global has already launched two brand new smartphones in India – Nokia 2.1 and Nokia 5.1. The company has also launched a 3GB Ram version of the Nokia 3.1, which was launched in India on July 2019.
The Nokia 5.1 comes with a 5.5-inch Full HD+ display with 2160 x 1080 pixels resolution and 18:9 trendy aspect ratio. Powered by a MediaTek Octa-core SoC, the Nokia 5.1 is paired with 3GB of RAM with a back up of 32GB of internal storage and a micro SD card slot.
Talking about the camera, the Nokia 5.1 sports a 16-megapixel rear sensor with PDAF, LED flash with an 8MP front shooter for selfies. It is backed by 3000mAh battery and it runs on Android Oreo operating system being an Android One smartphone.
The Nokia 2.1, the cheapest among the three, sports a 5.5-inch HD display with 1280 x 720 pixels with a standard 16:9 ratio. The device is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 425 processor, powered by 1GB of RAM.
The entry-level phone comes with an 8MP rear sensor with an LED flash and a 5MP selfie camera. The smartphone supports up to 128GB of external storage and comes with 8GB of internal storage.
HMD Global’s Nokia 2.1 is only the second smartphone to be part of the Android Go program, and has a massive 4,000mAh battery.
The Nokia 3.1 is now upgraded to a 3GB RAM variant with a 5.2 inch HD+ display with 1440 x 720 pixels screen resolution and 18:9 aspect ratio. The smartphone is powered by a MediaTek octa-core processor and is fuelled by an internal storage of 32GB. The device is powered by a 2,990mAh battery.
HMD Global has promised to provide Android Pie for all three models by the end of this year.
