Chinese smartphone manufacturer, Oppo, took to Twitter to announce the launch of its new smartphone Oppo A83 in India.

The company tweeted, “Prepare to be stunned by the all new #OPPOA83. Its exceptional features are all set to leave you captivated. Available from 20th January! #CaptureTheRealYou”

The smartphone, which was unveiled in China in December, is all set for the Indian launch on January 20.

The smartphone was globally launched in two colour variants, Champagne and Black. The price at which the device was launched in the China market brands approximately Rs 13,900 in the Indian market.

The Oppo A83 sports a 5.7-inch FullHD+ LCD display with 720x1440 pixel ratio and 18:9 aspect ratio. Powered by 2.5GHz octa-core processor MediaTek 6763T, the phone packs 4 GB RAM and 32 GB internal memory, which can be expanded up to 128 GB via microSD card.

The phone runs on Android 7.1 Nougat and is backed by 3180mAH battery size.  On the camera front, the Oppo A83 has a 13-mp primary camera lens with LED and 8-mp secondary camera lens.

The company also shared the battery size and camera lens of the phone on Twitter.

“The #OPPOA83 is equipped with a powerful 3180 mAh battery, which enables longer and uninterrupted performance. #CaptureTheRealYou”, it tweeted.

It also tweeted, “Be the shutterbug you always wanted to be. Equipped with an 8MP Front Camera and a 13MP Rear Camera, your photos will never go unnoticed. #CaptureTheRealYou #OPPOA83”

Other connectivity options include Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth, FM Radio, 3.5mm jack, dual-SIM slots, 4G VoLTE connectivity, 3G connectivity, proximity sensor, accelerometer, and ambient light sensor.
