Oppo K1 was finally launched in the Indian market after getting launched in China in the month of October. E-commerce giant Flipkart has even created a dedicated microsite on its portal for the sale of the newly launched handset. The main attraction of the smartphone is its ‘In-Display’ fingerprint sensor with which user can easily unlock the handset by just touching the screen. However, a 6GB Ram variant was launched in the Chinese market but in India, a 4GB variant has been launched at Rs 16,990.
Meanwhile, Flipkart is also offering 5 per cent extra discount on Axis Bank Buzz Credit Card. The sale for Oppo K1 will begin from February 12 noon.
Oppo K1 comes with a 6.4-inch FHD display with a resolution of 1080x2340 pixels with 19:5:9 aspect ratio. It is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 Processor clocked up to 2.2GHz and coupled with 4GB RAM and 6GB RAM variant options. However, the internal storage in both RAM variants will be 64GB which can be further extended to 256GB via MicroSD card.
The price of the upcoming handset is yet to be revealed but looking at its price in the Chinese market which is CNY 1,599 (Rs 17,000 approx.) for the 4GB variant and CNY 1,799 (Rs 19,000 approx.) for the 6GB variant, it is expected to remain below Rs 20,000 in the Indian market as well.
Oppo K1 is available in two colour options in Chinese market including Mocha Red and Van Gogh Blue while in India the smartphone will be available in Astral Blue and Piano Black colours.
On optics front, Oppo K1 sports a dual camera setup at the back with 16 MP + 2 MP camera lens along with a LED flash. In the front, it has a 25-megapixel camera lens for capturing beautiful selfies.
Other connectivity includes 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi i 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS/ A-GPS, and GLONASS. The Oppo K1 runs on Android 8.1 Oreo on top of ColorOS 5.2 and is fuelled by a 3600mAh battery.
