Poco F1 users asked to return smartphones facing touchscreen issues for testing: Details inside

Poco F1 has recently received yet another price cut in India. After the price cut, the 6GB + 64GB variant of Poco F1 is available for Rs 17,999. Interestingly, this is the lowest price that Poco F1 is available since its launch last year. Unfortunately, the smartphone has been plagued by one issue after another ever since its launch. Therefore, Xiaomi is asking Poco F1 users who are experiencing the touchscreen issue on their phone to send it over so that it can be assessed and the issue can be resolved, reports NDTV’S Gadgets 360.

It is to be noted that the Poco F1 users have complained about touch-related issues including input lag, ghost touch and screen freezing.

Pocophone Global head, Alvin Tse, tweeted that the company is looking to test Poco F1 units on which users are experiencing the touch issues after receiving the MIUI v10.3.5.0 update.

Poco F1 specifications

Poco F1 is features a 6.18-inch full-HD+ display with 500 nits peak brightness. The smartphone is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 SoC.

On the optics front, the Poco F1 is equipped with a dual camera setup on the back with 12-megapixel Sony IMX363 and 5-megapixel sensors. On the front, Poco F1 has a 20-megapixel camera with HDR.

The smartphone also comes with a special version of MIUI, called MIUI for Poco, based on Android 9 Pie. There is a dedicated Poco Launcher, centred around app drawer and customisations.

Additionally, the device comes with 4,000mAh battery with Quick Charge 3.0 support, a microSD card slot (up to 256GB) and 4G LTE support. The smartphone is offered in Steel Blue, Graphite Black, and Rosso Red colours.
