New Delhi:

The PUBG Mobile has now been downloaded more than 400 million times across platforms. Aren’t you surprised? Many of you would agree that PUBG is your favourite game, so this milestone was definitely possible.

Tencent Games and PUBG Corporation, in a statement said, “PUBG Mobile has now been downloaded more than 400M times across platforms, and has surpassed the mark of 50M daily active users.”

It is to be noted that these numbers exclude activity in Tencent’s home country of China, where the game was recently pulled from release.

Interestingly, the milestone comes less than six months after the PUBG Mobile game had surpassed 200 million downloads. In December 2018, the PUBG Mobile was seeing 30 million daily active users.

Recently, PUBG Mobile 0.13.0 update went live. The update brings weapon mastery system, a third controller preset and many more.

After PUBG Mobile's latest update, KooSung Jeong of PUBG's console development team said, “The next patch is currently scheduled for June 27 PDT and will introduce some highly demanded features to the console experience, including the auto-equipping of scopes, magazines and muzzle attachments, a tactical marker communications system for those players without access to mics, and a new controller layout scheme for better mobility in battle.”

“Vikendi and Erangel will both get loot rebalances and the highly anticipated Weapons Mastery system makes will make its debut on consoles,” Jeong added.

Last month, analytics firm Sensor Tower said that PUBG Mobile became the world's top grossing mobile game. “It overtook Honour of Kings by raking in $146 million last month. While Play Store and App Store revenues accounted for $76 million, rest came from the Chinese version of the game i.e. Game for Peace,” Sensor Tower had said.
